The Old Masters' realism in their still life paintings and their bold colors have always inspired and intrigued me.</span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:Trebuchet MS;color:#333399;"></span></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#333399;">I work in pastels and oils, painting landscapes and still life. I find that there is elegance in simplicity in a painting. My world-famous pear paintings mostly identify me and my work. The pears are a still life with a twist and take on human attributes. Although the backgrounds vary, the pears hover in family groups, standing alone or falling from the sky.</span></strong><br /><br /><strong><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#333399;">Individuals and corporations throughout the country have collected my works.
